EyeEase20 is built to keep your data on your Mac. There are no accounts, no analytics and no tracking.

What stays on your Mac

Your settings and your break history (the breaks you took and skipped) are stored locally on your Mac. They are never sent to us or anyone else.

Smart Pause

To stay quiet when you're busy, EyeEase20 checks, on your Mac, whether the microphone is in use, whether media is playing, whether a Focus is on, and how long it's been since your last mouse or keyboard input. It only looks at whether these are happening. It never records audio, reads what you type, or looks at what's on your screen, and none of this leaves your Mac.

Update checks

EyeEase20 asks the App Store whether a newer version is available, using only the app's identifier. No personal information is included.
